About Canyon Trail Memory
Canyon Trail Memory is a sequence memory game in the style of the classic light-and-repeat toys. Nine canyon markers — a cactus, a scorpion, a camel, a compass and more — light up one after another, and you retrace the trail from memory.
How to play Canyon Trail Memory
- Press Start playing. The top of the board says Watch closely while the sequence plays.
- Watch which markers light up and in what order.
- When the board says Your turn, tap the markers in the same order. Dots above the grid show how far along you are.
- Get it all right and the next round replays the trail with one extra step on the end.
- A wrong tap costs one of your 13 lives and the same trail plays again, so you can try that round once more.

Tips for a higher score
- Say the pictures in your head as they light up — "camel, cactus, compass" is easier to hold than positions.
- The sequence only ever grows at the end; everything before it is the same as the last round.
- Playback speeds up in later rounds. Look at the whole grid rather than following each flash with your eyes.
- Later rounds are worth much more, so an extra life spent on a long trail is usually worth it.
